KSG Leadership Reflects on Progress, Charts Next Phase of Transformation

At the recent management retreat, Kenya School of Government leadership comprising the Director General, Directors, Deputy Directors, and Assistant Directors met to reflect on the School’s progress, align priorities, and chart the next phase of growth and contribution to Kenya’s public service.

Over the three day gathering, Management explored a broad range of issues that will shape the School’s future. Discussions focused on strengthening programs, nurturing an agile organizational culture, expanding regional and international partnerships, enhancing leadership development, and advancing research, consultancy and digital transformation.

Participants also examined strategies to strengthen institutional branding, improve financial sustainability, enhance infrastructure, reinforce quality assurance, and harmonize systems and processes across all campuses.

The workshop also provided opportunity to review progress on previous management resolutions, assess what has worked well, and identify areas requiring renewed focus. These reflections are expected to strengthen accountability, improve coordination and accelerate the implementation of key institutional priorities.

It culminated in a communiqué outlining the resolutions and strategic actions that will guide the School’s work in the year ahead, reinforcing KSG’s commitment to excellence in leadership development and public service capacity building for Kenya and the wider region
