Jeanes School was converted
Jeanes School was converted from an education facility to a military center for the third (3rd) battalion Kenya African Riffles (KAR).
1961
Jeanes School transitioned
Jeanes School transitioned to Kenya Institute of Administration (KIA). KIAs’ main focus was to efficiently and effectively provide training to Kenyans to enable them take over the Kenya Civil Service.
2012
School Establishment
The school was established under the Kenya School of Government Act No.9 of 2012. Kenya Development Learning Centre ((KDLC) and former Government Training Institutes (GTIs) in Embu, Mombasa, Matuga and Baringo are now the KSG School Campuses.
